Research Interests
I have over 15 years of experience in clinical research, primarily with the department of Family Medicine. I have provided research support comprising data collection, management and protocol development for addiction-related studies, including health behaviors in vulnerable populations, the use of meditation in AOD patients, and opioid dependence in chronic pain patients.
I am primarily interested in the neural mechanisms behind complex behaviors, including addiction, anxiety and psychopathy. I am the lead Study Coordinator on two of our R01 grants studying alcohol treatment: prediction of alcohol use lapse using mHealth, and our randomized controlled trial of doxazosin.
