Branching and Counter Demos

1.  A simple loop {item-file; enumerated item-file}.  This item-file demos the use of a counter and BranchIf to create a finite loop.

2.  Button press feedback {item-file; enumerated item-file}.  This script demos multi-way call and the use of branching to create an infinite loop (with user initiated exit).

3.  Block-level (vs. item level) feedback

These item-files demo the use of counters and appendcounter to provide feedback on the mean RT and accuracy after a block of trials.  There are two versions.  One includes just one block of trials in a fixed order.  The second includes 2 blocks with scrambled items

A.      Feedback after one block {item-file; enumerated item –file}

B.      Feedback after two scrambled blocks {item-file; enumerated item-file}

Other sample scripts

Likert Self-Assessment Maniquin ratings (item-file; enumerated item-file;):

This item-file demos the use of two bmp files (one for valence; one for arousal) to gather self-report and viewing time data for studies using IAPS or other visual emotional stimuli.  This demo includes three trials, one for a positive image, one for a negative image, one for a neutral image.  The data are recorded in the ZIL file format.  RT on the slide presentation item provides a measure of viewing time.  The button selected (1-9) is recorded on arousal and valence items to provide ratings data.
