Alco-Sensor IV Accuracy Test Instructions

1. Attach the regulator to the dry gas container

· If you are using a new tank, replace the O-ring that is on the regulator’s grooves with the O-ring attached to the new tank; follow with next instructions

· If using an existing tank, screw the regulator into the top of the tank; be careful not to over tighten

2. Purge the tank for 2-3 seconds prior to the first test

· Press the top button on the regulator to let gas pass through for 2-3 seconds

3. Insert a new mouthpiece into the Alco-Sensor IV

4. Connect the Mouthpiece to the Regulator

· Make sure that the Alco-Sensor IV displays TEST before moving on

· Make an airtight seal between the regulator’s delivery tube and the intake tube of the mouthpiece

5. Testing the accuracy

· Depress the button on the top of the regulator for 7 seconds

· On the 5^th second depress the MANUAL button on the Alco-Sensor IV to take a test

· Stop delivery of the gas on the 7^th second

6. Carefully remove the mouthpiece from the regulator

7. Observe the 3-digit reading

8. If the 3-digit reading is not acceptable, go to directions for CALIBRATION
