Positive and Negative Affective States (PAX) Questionnaire

The PAX includes 2 higher-order scale scores (Positive Affect,
Negative Affect) and 10 lower-order scale scores (Shyness, Fatigue,
Serenity, Surprise, Fear, Hostility, Guilt, Sadness, Joviality,
Self Assurance). There is no total score.
Data Entry Instructions
For each participant, enter the following information:
Column 1 = Participant ID#
Columns 2-61 = Item scores for items 1-60, range (1,5). Data entry
begins with the left column on the questionnaire, and proceeds
from top to bottom.
For missing values, enter "-999"
