Michigan Alcohol Screening Tests: Father Form (FSM)

The Father Form of the Michigan Alcohol Screening Tests (FSM) is a 13-item measure of problems experienced by the participant’s father as a result of drinking alcohol.

The FSM consists of 13 items to which participants respond either "Yes" or "No".

The FSM yields 1 total score. Descriptions of the scale and item loadings are listed below.  Scale scores are calculated as the sum of respective items.  Underlined/bold items are reverse scored.
