Interests
My research focuses on the investigation of cognitive
mechanisms underlying addiction motivation and how these processes are
influenced by drug withdrawal. I'm interested in the relationship
between drug cue exposure, craving, and cognitive control in the drug
dependent individual. The susbtances of abuse of most interest to
me are alcohol, nicotine, and marijuana. My research involves the
use of psychophysiological (EEG & ERP) and neuroimaging (fMRI) techniques.
